The Community Fund competition run by Aviva is now closed and we’re delighted to announce that out of the 210 entries, our charity of the year, Bright Red have made it to final 24 which guarantees them a minimum of £2,000.
Aviva have confirmed the judging process was incredibly difficult so to get shortlisted is an amazing achievement and one which all the staff, trustees and patients at Bright Red really appreciate.
Since the initiative began, Aviva have been able to donate almost £300,000 to important causes in local communities. This year they’ll be giving away a grand prize fund of £100,000 so a big thank you to Aviva for shortlisting Bright Red this year.
Mark Burdett, Sales & Marketing Director at NC Insurance had this to say, “Through care, research and education, Bright Red are striving to beat illnesses such as leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma, myelodysplasia and myeloproliferative diseases. I know this shortlisting and money will make such a difference to Bright Red so we’ll be keeping our fingers crossed that they win their category. All the team at NC Insurance would also like to extend our thanks to Aviva for their generosity and continued support through their community fund.”
